Miquel Jané’s 2015 Sauvignon Blanc won a gold medal at the Concours Mondial – a great Spanish Sauvignon style brought about by four generations of family winemaking experience.
Miquel Jané’s vines are located in the heart of the Penedès region, based on calcareous-clay soil at an altitude of 500 metres and benefitting from a wonderful Mediterranean climate. This altitude ensures a diurnal temperature range whereby the heat of the day yields concentrated fruit and the cool evenings bring balancing freshness and acidity.
Lovely lemon green hue. Complex nose, with classic varietal aromas (lychee, passion fruit and stone fruits) and floral notes. Nicely concentrated, pronounced fruit flow into the mouth, with a silky mouth feel, good structure and persistence.
